Role Summary
HERS365 is seeking an Integrated Operations Intern to support organizational operations while bringing a communications, marketing, and engagement perspective to internal projects. This role is ideal for students interested in operations, project coordination, communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing who want exposure to multiple areas of a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project coordination and cross-functional initiatives
- Support internal communications and organizational workflows
- Help coordinate events, campaigns, and organizational projects
- Track project progress and maintain documentation
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, HR, and leadership teams
- Support process improvement and operational efficiency efforts
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Comfortable working collaboratively across teams
- Interest in nonprofit operations, leadership, and organizational development

Communication & Accountability Requirement
Because this is a remote-first internship, consistent communication is required.
Important Note: Interns must be available to attend a recurring 30-minute team status meeting to collaborate with leadership and cross-functional departments, provide project updates, and stay aligned on organizational priorities.
All interns must complete check-ins every:
- Tuesday
- Thursday
- Sunday
Check-ins must be submitted via text, email, or the designated team communication channel and must include:
- Current progress
- Completed tasks
- Upcoming availability
- Any issues, questions, or support needs
- Failure to maintain consistent communication may result in removal from the program.
