Paid Pre-Health Clinical Internship (Medical Assistant Training)

Mia Bella Pediatrics is seeking motivated pre-health students to join our structured Paid Pre-Health Clinical Internship Program. This is not a traditional shadowing experience or temporary internship. Interns receive progressive Medical Assistant training while working toward approximately 2,000 hours of meaningful direct patient care experience over 2–2.5 years while attending school, alongside board-certified pediatricians in a busy pediatric primary care practice.

Ideal candidates are pursuing careers in medicine (MD/DO), physician assistant, nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or other healthcare professions and are seeking meaningful long-term clinical experience.

Training includes patient rooming, vital signs, vaccinations, point-of-care testing, electronic medical records, patient communication, pediatric clinical workflow, and leadership development. Senior interns have opportunities to mentor newer interns as they progress through the program.
