The Role

Distribution is the moat.

The next great companies will not just win because they have the best product. They will win because people cannot stop talking about them.

This is not a role where you make generic influencer lists, send boring DMs, and wait for someone to approve a campaign.

You help Skarmy build the creator engine behind the company: UGC, influencer partnerships, founder content, short-form video, creator outreach, social experiments, and viral distribution.

You are half creator operator, half growth hacker. You understand TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X, LinkedIn, memes, hooks, creators, and how people actually discover new products.

This role is for someone who wants to be close to creators, content, growth, culture, and startup distribution at the same time.

What You Will Own

  • UGC strategy. Help create a system for producing user-generated content that makes Skarmy feel exciting, useful, and impossible to ignore.
  • Influencer sourcing. Find creators across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, newsletters, podcasts, and niche communities who can reach ambitious founders, students, creators, engineers, operators, and startup people.
  • Creator outreach. Write personalized DMs, emails, and partnership messages that creators actually respond to.
  • Influencer partnerships. Help manage collaborations, paid partnerships, affiliate campaigns, creator briefs, deliverables, timelines, and follow-ups.
  • Short-form video. Help ideate, script, organize, and review videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
  • Hook testing. Test different angles, captions, formats, thumbnails, CTAs, memes, and narratives to figure out what gets attention.
  • Campaign execution. Help launch creator campaigns around Skarmy alpha testing, product demos, founder stories, events, waitlists, and launches.
  • Creator database. Build and maintain a database of creators, niches, audiences, rates, performance, contact info, and partnership status.
  • Performance tracking. Track views, clicks, signups, conversions, engagement, CAC, creator ROI, and learnings from every campaign.
  • Trend research. Stay close to internet culture, startup Twitter, AI TikTok, founder content, student creators, tech memes, and whatever is working right now.
  • Shipping velocity. This is not fake intern work. You will work on real campaigns, real creators, real content, real growth experiments, and real user acquisition.

What We Are Looking For

  • You have prior experience with UGC, influencer marketing, content creation, social media growth, creator partnerships, or brand campaigns.
  • You understand short-form content. You know what makes people stop scrolling, watch, share, comment, click, or sign up.
  • You are extremely online. You understand TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, LinkedIn, memes, trends, hooks, and creator culture.
  • You are good at outreach. You can write messages that feel personal, direct, and compelling.
  • You are organized. You can manage many creators, messages, campaigns, deadlines, links, briefs, and follow-ups without losing track.
  • You care about growth, not just aesthetics. You want content that drives attention, signups, users, and revenue.
  • You move fast. Internet trends do not wait.
  • You have high agency. You do not wait around for permission.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity. Early-stage growth is messy. Your job is to test, learn, and create momentum.
  • You are unusually good at something. Maybe you grew a TikTok account, ran influencer campaigns, made viral videos, built a creator network, managed brand deals, edited content, started a meme page, or helped a brand get attention.

  • You have personally created content that performed well.
  • You have managed UGC or influencer campaigns before.
  • You have worked with creators, student ambassadors, affiliates, or brand partners.
  • You have experience with tools like TikTok Creator Marketplace, Instagram, YouTube Studio, Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, CapCut, Canva, Clay, or influencer databases.
  • You understand startups, AI tools, founder culture, student communities, or tech creators.
  • You can write strong hooks, scripts, captions, briefs, and cold outreach.
  • You have experience tracking campaign performance and creator ROI.
  • You are good at making Skarmy feel culturally relevant, not corporate.

We work five to six days a week at the office.

We move fast, talk to users constantly, ship aggressively, and care about making Skarmy feel magical.

We go out, decompress, and are human. We really love concerts, KBBQs, founder dinners, and strange experiments.
